great news!

hello!
we have some exciting news! after a little scrambling when our original venue a|v had to close, we couldn't be more pleased to announce our new home! second storie} indie market will be held at the visual studies workshop! a wonderful space, with nearly four times the room!

because we have a little room to spread out, we'll be contacting selected vendors after the first of the month regarding larger tables.

also, because we received so many inquiries about whether the indie market was still a go after a|v fell through, we're going to extend the application deadline through the end of the month. that means you still have a chance for a space if you've put it off due to all the confusion! applications will be accepted through July 30. all selected vendors will still be contacted August 1st, with welcome kits going out the first week of the month.

hello and welcome!

Second storie} indie market is Rochester, New York's newest craft fair. It was created by four friends looking for something a little edgier on the craft fair circuit. Think Renegade, or Art Star Craft Bazaar...and now Second Storie! The event will take place Friday, September 7th with a kick off party {complete with live music!} and Saturday, September 7th. We're thrilled with our venue: a|v space at the Rochester Public Market.

We're excited to announce that Second Storie is now calling all artists + crafters! Our downloadable application will be up on friday June 8th, but if you'd like to get a head start you can email us at secondstorie@gmail.com and will send one to you!

Second Storie is looking for just the right fit for both artists and shoppers alike, so participants will be selected by jury. Because we like to keep things simple, and open to everyone the booth fee is minimal {we know starting your own business can be tough!} and we'll be providing all the tables. We'll be inside, so there's no worry of rain! It will be a great time all around!
