Friday Favorites

This week we are featuring the embroidery of Mary's Granddaughter. I love the simplicity of the line and the sweetness of her subjects. This piece, titled she embroiders just knocks my socks off. It, along with many of her figurative pieces, features a tiny antique doll arm that holds a needle and thread. The doll arms have their own unique history that you can read about here. Shown with a companion piece, it is a most intriguing wall hanging.
